How To Do The Natural Makeup

 There are basically two types of natural makeup; The Normal Natural Makeup, and The Advanced Natural Makeup. Either one you choose to do, be sure that you will have that beautiful natural effect in no time.

The Normal Natural Look

1. Achieving this lovely look starts with having a smooth face, so the face should be cleansed, toned and moisturised. This step makes the face soft and smooth for an all day long natural look. 
2. Then get the eye brows shaped slightly to bring out the features of the face and in such a way that highlighting is optional. 
3.  A liquid mineral foundation of your shade is swept all over the face, blending around the headline, under eyes, nose bridge and around the jaw line /neck. 
4. A translucent mineral powder of your shade is the used over the foundation. This gives a glowing effect without adding extra colors. 
5. Highlight the brows lightly with a brown pencil (optional). 
6.  Apply a clear mascara. 
7. Apply a clear lip gloss.

  
The Advanced Natural Look

1. As With any other type of makeup look, advanced natural look also starts with having a smooth face, so the face should be cleansed, toned and moisturised. This step makes the face soft and smooth for an all day long natural look. 
2. Then get the eye brows shaped slightly to bring out the features of the face and in such a way that highlighting is optional as well. 
3. A mineral foundation of your shade is swept all over the face , blending around the headline, under eyes, nose bridge and around the jaw line /neck. 
4. A colored mineral powder is applied, and well blended. 
5. Highlight the brows lightly with a brown pencil (optional) 
6. Apply Matte brown eye shadow,very close to your skin color. 
7. Apply a brown or black eye shadow lightly. 
8. Apply a brown or black liquid eyeliner. 
9. A black, clear or brown mascara. 
10. A cool colored blush, just one or two shades darker than your complexion.

There you have it, your makeup naturally done in no time, but simply beautiful, giving you that ready-to-go girly look.

Held at the prestigious Citi Café at Kofo Abayomi Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, 3^rd of February 2011, the Citibank quarterly women forum was a memorable event.

The theme was ‘Your passion: Your Opportunity – One Woman’s story’. With over 60 Citi women in attendance, the event was streamed live to Warri, Abuja and Kaduna.

Tara Fela-Durotoye, MD/CEO of House of Tara International was the guest speaker at the event and she spoke extensively about the business structure of House of Tara, her employees, her vision for the business and various aspects of the beauty industry in Nigeria.

Her inspiring story about how her love for makeup which started from a summer job in a perfume store and later blossomed into a successful company with hundreds of employees was very encouraging to everyone in attendance.

The concluding Q&A session was very enlightening as various thought provoking questions were asked and the responses given by Tara-Fela Durotoye shed more light on issues raised.
 

In addition to this, Citiwomen were given make overs by 10 professional makeup artistes  and they also had the opportunity to buy a wide array of  HOT makeup products.

It was a wonderful event with lots of laughter and inspiring moments ...

BEAUTY REP WORKSHOP- JANUARY 22, 2011

BEAUTY REP. WORKSHOP

Everyone had a wonderful time at the first workshop organised this year for our esteemed beauty reps which took place at our Ikeja office on Saturday, 22/01/2011.

The first beauty rep workshop in year 2011 with the theme: 'Financial Investment and Planning', was facilitated by Mrs Tundun Aderibigbe, a renowned consultant. Some key notes include:

• Having a master plan is key in budgeting.
• A business without a budget has no plan.
• Profits are made to be reinvested.

Mrs Tara Fela-Durotoye, MD/CEO, House of Tara International, gave some words of advice&encouragement to the beauty reps and also engaged them in meaningful conversation.

It was a very interactive session as ideas and challenges faced by the beauty reps were openly discussed and light was shed on various issues by the participants.
